Hungry, Hungry Gliders

This weeks challenge at Child's Play Challenge is the best game (and the noisiest) a child could have.  Hungry, Hungry Hippo.  I remember my parents hated that games because it was so noisy but it was always my favorite.

Here is my take on the challenge.

Edgar and Penelope's first taste of honeysuckle.  They loved it so very much that all that was left was a twig.

Oh, and if you have not seen the other girl's challenge layouts yet go and see them.  It is so funny this week, we all have some sort of stitching and it was not planned at all.

Mission Impossible

For this layout I used a sketch from Sketches In Thyme.

I really love these pictures of Edgar and Penelope.  It does look like they are climbing down the rope for their next mission of destroying their cage.

Spooky Good Time

It's time for this weeks challenges at Let's Get Sketchy and Lasting Memories

Lasting Memories is having a birthday celebration this week so that is the challenge.  Quincie had her 11th birthday back in January and she wanted a Monster High sleep over.  Like always I make her a cake.  She wanted to use the Duff products from Michaels.  That is the worst frosting I had ever used.  So, her cake was not beautiful like it usually is but it still tasted great.  Oh and for future reference, never give 10 year old girls cake after 9, they get very hyper.

BINGO!!!!!!

Over at Lasting Memories, we are playing bingo for this weeks challenge.  I went straight down the "N" with that free space.  Dry Embossing, Flowers, Designer Paper and Stickers is what I had to work with.  I remember that I bought a card set of embossing shelves and I thought I could use the King.  Took one of my pictures of Edgar and made him King of the Castle.  Stitch is also a king here but Edgar is furry king.

Here is my layout and I hope you enjoy it.  :)

Those crazy gliders.

One night Edgar and Penelope was up and ready to play.  I had the camera out and was taking lots and lots of pictures of my cute little kids.  I can't wait to scrap them all.

I used this weeks sketch at Let's Get Sketchy for my layout.  And yesterday I just got my Pink Paislee warehouse box in the mail.  I really loved the colors of the Vintage line so I used that.  I also used my sew-easy and put beads on the thread.  I love the way it looks.

Edgar is the top picture and Penelope is the bottom.

Mining for Silver

Silver is this weeks challenge at Lasting Memories.   I had a hard time with this one at first because I did not have anything silver, than I remember about the silver thickers I had.  So after that it was very easy to come up with something.

This is a picture of Quincie on her 5th grade graduation day.  She was the only girl in her grade to win the art trophy.  I was not able to get a good picture of her receiving the trophy.  She was so excited to get that trophy.  She loves art so very much.

Beach Ball @ Child's Play Challenges

Guess what??????

I was chosen  to be one of the new design team members at Child's Play Challenges.  Yippee!!!!!!

I'm on Team A and this weeks challenge is a beach ball.  Beach balls can be fun in water and on land and anytime of the year.
Inflatable 18 inch Beach Balls 1 pc [Toy]

Here is what I came up with.

Quincie bought a octopus beach ball and she could not wait to take it in the pool.  She named the thing Octopadro.  That girl came come up with strange names.  I hate to hear what she is going to name her future children.

I hope you enjoy my first of many Child's Play Challenges layout.
